Students will be introduced to the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning trade, copper and plastic piping practices, soldering and brazing, ferrous metal piping practices, basic electricity concepts, introduction to cooling, and introduction to heating and air distribution systems.
This course requires students to apply their understanding of and engage in safety practices essential to the construction trades.
Students that complete this pre apprenticeship earn NCCER certifications in Level 1 HVAC, NCCER Core and OSHA 10 certification as well as up to 6 college credits from Hocking College.
