Students are guided through real-world applications with hands-on lab coursework to ensure they have the technical foundation needed to pursue a successful career in engineering.
Students are also taught a variety of manufacturing processes and skills in quality analysis tools, occupational safety, and electronics. A large focus within the program is on the importance of automated equipment including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) and robotic systems.
The Industrial Technology pre apprenticeship is also a great pathway into the Associate degree program in Engineering Technology at Ohio University-Lancaster.
